Joshua Egba
Business Development - West Africa, US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA)
Joshua Egba is the principal liaison to the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) on the management and development of its ongoing and prospective program activities in Nigeria. Joshua provides advice and analysis related to the identification, evaluation and tracking of USTDA's foreign assistance activities in Nigeria across highly diverse sectors such as energy, transportation, information technology and the environment.
Prior to joining USTDA, Joshua provided business and finance advisory services to a range of public and private entities in Nigeria, including the preparation of feasibility studies, financial modeling and business planning for organizations such as the Federal Government of Nigeria’s Subsidy Renewal Program (SURE-P); and the facilitation of financial training programs for the Central Bank of Nigeria. Before this, he worked as a Finance Officer with Wakefield District and Housing, overseeing budgets for over 18,000 housing units and contributing to the preparation of financial statements for a social landlord in the United Kingdom.
Joshua began his career as a Credit Risk Advisor for U.K. telecoms company Telefonica. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in International Business.
