Amir is one of the longest serving employees of Oil & Gas Council. Initially Amir was responsible for managing many of the Council’s most important corporate partners and sponsors whilst assisting with the delegate engagement of our largest events globally. In the last few years Amir has been promoted (twice) to become Executive Vice President and Head of Corporate Development. He now oversees our EMEA business development activities reporting directly to the CEO. He still personally maintains the account management of several key Council partners.

Amir has a natural affinity for sales and business development. He specialises in client engagement, account management and new business development across all facets of the global oil and gas industry.  Previously Amir worked for leading publishing companies and conference companies honing his skills of successfully engaging and servicing international businesses in their sales and marketing efforts, particularly in the energy industry.

In his spare time, Amir is a huge MMA fan and follows UFC religiously. He is also passionate about travelling. When he is not exploring (re: gallivanting around) the world, he loves to spend time first and foremost with his family and his dogs. At 6’8, Amir towers above a normal crowd and is not a hard person to find at any Oil & Gas Council event.
