HE Ms Anne  Lene Dale is Norway’s Ambassador to Mozambique, and has been so since September 2016. She holds a Master of Political Science from the University of Oslo, and has done a 2-year PhD-scholarship on Ethics.

Prior to her current position, she has been Director of Section for Economic and Commercial Affairs, Head of Communications and Press Spokesperson in the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Previous postings abroad have been Syria and Lebanon as well as Norway’s NATO delegation in Brussels. In private sector, she has had various jobs advising on business development, cluster formations and regional development. This includes running her own consultancy company, and working as CEO of Research Institutions in both Oslo and Kristiansand.

She has also been a board member of the Norwegian Climate Foundation as well as of several research institutions.
