Mr. Vilas has more than 30 years’ experience working in energy investment banking. Most recently Mr. Vilas was VP Business Development and Argentina Country Manager for Miramar Hydrocarbons / Petrolera del Comahue SA, a producer of crude oil in Argentina. Prior thereto he was Managing Director of Macquarie Group’s Buenos Aires office and managed Macquarie’s energy practice in South America. In early 2007, Arturo initiated Tristone Capital’s successful Latin American practice. Prior to that, Mr. Vilas was Managing Director of Scotia Waterous and J.P. Morgan Chase. He was also a Board Member of Interoil ASA, and Oslo Bors – listed E&P companies with operations in Colombia and Peru. He is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in French, Portuguese and Italian, in addition to English. He holds a Licenciado en Administración de Empresas’ (Business Administration degree) from the Universidad Católica Argentina, Buenos Aires
