The last 2.5 years, Bas has supported the board of Harvest Waste in fundraising, liaising with (development) finance institutions, negotiating contracts and improving the bankability of its projects. Harvest Waste is a developer of large-scale waste-to-energy projects around the world using proprietary High-Efficiency Technology with a negative carbon footprint. Harvest Waste is the only firm in the world that develops waste-fired energy plants, which can operate without gate fees purely on electricity income, while meeting highest environmental and ESG standards.
Bas has more almost 15 years of experience in infrastructure investments and transaction advisory. He worked in investment banking roles in the Netherlands and Australia. Bas holds MSc titles in Quantitative Finance & Actuarial Sciences and Investment Management of respectively Tilburg University and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
