Mr. O’Gara has served as Chief Financial Officer since 2015. Prior to joining Echo Energy, Mr. O’Gara was with Greenwich, Connecticut based Wexford Capital. While at Wexford, Mr. O’Gara worked closely with Diamondback Energy and Viper Energy Partners along with other upstream and midstream portfolio companies. Viper Energy Partners was the first publicly traded pure play mineral company in the United States which resulted in an initial public offering value of $2bn. At Echo Energy, Mr. O'Gara's efforts are focused on capital raises, investor relations, and financial oversight. Additionally, he oversees asset valuations and transaction execution on all of Echo Energy's business lines. Mr. O'Gara holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania.
