Chan Yoon is a senior attorney supporting Microsoft’s enterprise business in Asia, focusing on the energy, resources, manufacturing, retail and automotive industries. As adoption of digital technology requires a careful understanding not only of the technology and its benefits and risks but also of the customer’s needs and circumstances, Chan frequently engages customers’ legal and compliance teams to learn from each other when he’s not negotiating cloud computing transactions with them. His previous focus on the financial services sector required him to engage central banks and other regulators as well. Prior to Microsoft, he worked in private practice in New York and New Jersey before moving to an in-house legal role in the energy sector.
