Executive Vice President

As Executive Vice President for Human Resources and Corporate Affairs, Charlotte is globally responsible for Sasol’s Human Resources and Corporate Affairs functions. She was appointed to the Group Executive Committee on 1 February 2017.

Prior to joining Sasol, Charlotte was the Human Resources Executive at Tongaat Hulett Limited, an agricultural and agri-processing business focused primarily on sugarcane and maize. Prior to this, Charlotte spent 11 years at Telkom South Africa Limited, during which time she held several senior positions spanning the human resources, business consulting and customer services disciplines. Her last role with Telkom was that of Managing Executive, Customer Experience Management and Global Services.

Prior to joining Telkom, Charlotte was with Coca-Cola Southern Africa for three years as Performance Consultant and, subsequently, Division Learning and Education Manager where she was responsible for developing and driving performance enhancement interventions and programmes.

Charlotte has worked in both the private and NGO sectors covering the beverage, information and communication technology, education and agricultural industries. She was also previously the non-executive Chairman of Sasol Inzalo Public (Pty) Limited and Sasol Inzalo Public Funding (Pty) Limited.

Charlotte holds bachelor degrees in Human Resources Development and Social Sciences and has participated in numerous executive development programmes at prestigious business schools, including the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland, the US-based University of Michigan Business School and Leicester University in the UK.
