Christina Verchere is Regional President for Asia-Pacific or BP. She also serves as President of Indonesia Petroleum Association (IPA). Before moving to Jakarta, she was President and CEO of BP Canada Energy. Christina was also formerly Vice President of BP’s Upstream Program Management Office in Houston, where she successfully led the upstream business through a major reorganization. She has held key leadership roles in BP’s North American, Gulf of Mexico, and North Sea oil and gas business. Christina holds a M.A. Honours degree in Economic Science from the University of Aberdeen. She grew up in Hong Kong, Tokyo, the United States and United Kingdom.
