Claus Nehmzow is an entrepreneur and a leader in developing strategic innovation for achieving commercial success. He has over 30 years of experience in building businesses and providing consulting services to premier clients worldwide. He specializes in finding pragmatic business solutions involving applications of new technologies, such as robotics/UAVs, mobile, social and participatory media, data and video analytics, and virtual and immersive environments.
Claus is an integral part of BP’s Digital Innovation Organization ﴾DIO﴿ team, and is responsible for the Asia Pacific region. DIO uses digital innovation to meet BP’s business challenges.
Before joining BP’s DIO, Claus founded and built an online gaming education business, “3D Avatar School”, in Hong Kong. It aimed at providing English education to mainland Chinese students through the use of an interactive virtual environment. The business was acquired by a Chinese investor in June 2013 .
Prior to founding 3D Avatar School, Claus held a number of leadership roles:

As a management and technology consultant, Claus has worked for global clients in the U.S., Europe and Asia in a variety of industries, including financial services, healthcare, media & entertainment and telecommunications.
Originally from Germany, Claus has worked and lived in Zurich, New York, Munich, London, Hong Kong, and now resides in Singapore.
