CEO, Wolf Midstream
Gord Salahor is the CEO of Wolf Midstream Inc., a CPPIB-funded Calgary-based firm actively building a portfolio of energy midstream and infrastructure assets in Western Canada, starting with the $1.4B acquisition of a 50% interest in Access Pipeline in 2016.
Gord has approximately 33 years of engineering, commercial operations, and project origination experience in the western Canadian petrochemical and petroleum industries, with the last 16 years as an executive in the energy infrastructure business with a focus on gas processing and NGL extraction. Wolf was formed by Gord and several other former officers of Mistral Energy Inc. and the TSX-listed Taylor NGL Limited Partnership, each of which were stewarded from inception into ~$750MM liquidity events. Immediately prior to Wolf, the Mistral team completed approximately $360 MM of greenfield NGL projects, most notable of which was the 700 kilometer Vantage Pipeline to transport liquid ethane from North Dakota to petrochemical consumers in Alberta. Gord holds Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and Master of Business Administration degrees, both from the University of Alberta.
