Jean-Claude Heidmann just move to a new position as HR and Scholarship Programs manager Total E&P.
He was Director Exploration-Production at IFP School, bringing more than 35 years of valuable experience with Total in E&P activities, New Ventures, R&D and Business Negotiation to the renown worldwide academic institution.
After receiving a Master of Science degree in Earth Sciences at the University of Paris XI, he went on to specialize in Oil and Gas Industry with a Master in Exploration at IFP School.
Jean-Claude Heidmann joined Total in 1982 as a Geologist, moving on to various positions in New Ventures and Exploration in China, UK, Syria, Angola, U.S.A, Indonesia, and France.
In 2004, he became manager of Global New Ventures Identification in France before moving in Houston (U.S.A) as Global Vice President at Total’s New Ventures Identification.
Back to France in 2010, he became Manager of Business Development for Technology and R&D with Total Exploration & Production until he was seconded to IFP School in 2013.
