Non-executive Director and Former Head of Group Societal Impact & Sustainability, Danske Bank

Jeanette Fangel Løgstrup is an experienced non-executive director and international senior executive with a strong sustainability profile.

She has a C-suite background with almost 20 years of experience from international executive leadership teams, mostly in large listed companies like RSA Insurance Group and Danske Bank Group. For more than 15 years she has also served as non-executive director across a portfolio of different ownership structures and governance models. Industries cover media, financial services, fintech, IT, technical consultancy and foundations.

In her latest executive role she was Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Group Societal Impact & Sustainability at Danske Bank overseeing the strategic direction and execution of all activities within this area. In this role was also a key member of Finance Denmark Forum for Sustainable Finance which has delivered new recommendations for how the financial sector can contribute to the green transition. Jeanette joined Danske Bank in 2014 where she took on the role as Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Group Marketing, Communications & CSR and member of Group Management.

Before joining Danske Bank, Jeanette has worked in a number of industries holding senior executive positions within sustainability, marketing and communication.

Jeanette has been awarded CMO of the Year in 2017 and rated among the 100 most influential Danish women. She was also winner of Danish CSR Awards in 2013.

She is passionate about diversity and is author of book about diversity and leadership. She holds a MSc in Business Economics, Marketing and Strategy from Copenhagen Business School as well as various executive training programmes from Harvard Business School, INSEAD, Wharton and others. She also holds a board education from CBS Executive Board Education and has been member of Faculty since 2020
