Jeremy Low joined BMO in July of this year bringing with him 20 years’ experience in the oil and gas sector and investment banking. Jeremy started his career with Royal Dutch Shell and worked at Deutsche Bank and Lehman Brothers before joining RBC Capital Markets where he was responsible for covering the international upstream sector.

Jeremy has a diverse range of oil and gas experience having advised clients such as Royal Dutch Shell, Eni, ConocoPhillips, GdF Suez, Premier Oil and Ophir Energy across a suite of investment banking services including strategic advisory, M&A, equity and debt. Select recent transaction experience includes advising GDF Suez on the  disposal of select European upstream and midstream assets (US$540 million); advising Falkland Oil and Gas on their combination with Desire Petroleum (US$250 million); advising Faroe Petroleum on their equity raise (US$110 million); acting as defence advisor to Premier Oil and mandated lead arranger on Premier Oil’s US$2.5 billion debt facilities; and advising Ophir Energy on equity raises totalling US$1.4 billion.  Select previous transactions include advising Kerr-McGee on their UK exit to Maersk Oil & Gas and Centrica (US$3.0 billion); advising OMV on their proposed acquisition of MOL of Hungary (US$20 billion); advising Eni on the acquisition of First Calgary Petroleums (US$900 million); and advising Wintershall on the acquisition of Revus Energy (€580 million).
