Jesus Bronchalo
Vice President LNG Market Development, ExxonMobil
esus Bronchalo was promoted to Vice President, LNG Market Development for ExxonMobil in May 2017. In this new role, Jesus has responsibility for market development of LNG for ExxonMobil’s international projects and joint ventures. He is based at the ExxonMobil Houston Campus in the U.S.
After working with BHPBilliton as a Petroleum Engineer in Algeria, Jesus joined ExxonMobil in May 2004 and has held a number of positions in various business units including North Sea Supply Planning, Gas SPAs/Transportation/Lifting Agreements Negotiator, Strategic Planning, Asset Divestment and Commercial Activities and Negotiations in the areas of Exploration and Discovered Resources.
Jesus received his BE in Civil Engineering from the London South Bank University in 2002. In 2003, Jesus completed his MSc in Petroleum Engineering from the Imperial College London where he was elected President of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Student Chapter. He held several elected positions of the Young Professionals (YP) including Chairman for YP Gas & Oil professionals under 35. Jesus received his Executive International MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain in 2006.
Jesus is an active member of SPE and the Association of Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN).
Jesus is active in sports and mentoring activities with other Oil & Gas professionals and students. In 2013, he raced the Ironman Hawaii & Ironman 70.3 World Championship to raise over $10K as part of his volunteering activities with Running Across Borders and Girls Gotta Run in Ethiopia, non-profit organization that invests in girls who use running and education to empower themselves and their communities.
Jesus resides in Houston, TX with his wife Laura.
