Jon has over 25 years experience in physical and financial energy markets. Jon began his career with BP in Australia in 1990 and worked at Mitsui before moving to Commonwealth Bank in Sydney where he built a client-focused energy derivatives marketing business for the bank. Following senior client-facing capital markets roles with Bank of America in Singapore and London, and with Standard Chartered Bank and Societe Generale in London, Jon re-joined BP in 2011. His current focus is originating structured solutions involving financing and risk management for oil and gas producers within EMEA. Jon holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Queensland, Australia.
