Jorge A. Rave is currently Chief Representative in Mexico City with EDC’s Global Business Development (GBD) Group. Since joining EDC in 2008,Jorge has consistently taken on positions of increasing scope and responsibility with special focus on emerging markets (primarily Latin America and the Caribbean). Jorge holds a master’s degree in International Relations from Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and a Post-Graduate Diploma (PGDip) in Strategy and Innovation from Oxford University.

Prior to joining EDC, Jorge was a Political Risk consultant, and was the General Coordinator of the Observatoire des Amériques and Research Fellow with the Raoul-Dandurand Chair of Strategic and Diplomatic Studies, both at UQAM. Jorge’s professional background also includes conducting academic research and participating in humanitarian and economic development projects in Latin America, Europe and Canada.

In 2013, Jorge received the EDC Bravo Award after being recognized by his peers as one of the employees who best models key behaviours of The EDC Way. Having travelled extensively and lived in five different countries, Jorge is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
