Juancho Eekhout Smith is Executive Vice President of Development at IEnova since September 2018. He previously served as Vice President of Development from 2016 to 2018. Juancho has held several roles in the family of Sempra Energy companies. Between 2014 and 2016, he was Senior Director of Commercial Development at Sempra LNG. Between 2010 and 2013, he worked at San Diego Gas & Electric first as Director of Origination and then as Director of Strategic Planning. Eekhout Smith began his career at Sempra in 2008, as Director of Mergers and Acquisitions. Previously, Eekhout Smith worked for BP for 8 years working in the segments of oil trading and refining and commercialization of fuels.
