Ms. Li Yalan is currently Chairperson of the Board, Beijing Gas Group Co., Ltd.; Vice Chairperson of China Gas Association; International Gas Union (IGU) –Asia and Asia Pacific Regional Coordinator.

Ms. Li Yalan has a wealth of work experience. Since commencing her career in 1985, Ms. Li Yalan has developed rich experience working both for government, serving as deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Public Affairs Bureau Planning Department; and for industry. Proficient in the gas business, Ms. Li Yalan served as the Beijing Gas Group Planning Development Manager and Chief Engineer and she has a wealth of business executive experience as the incumbent Chairman of Beijing Gas Group. In terms of energy policy-making, professor level senior engineer Ms. Li Yalan has presided over the preparation of Beijing’s “Ninth Five-Year Plan” regarding natural gas development planning and effectively promoting the development of Beijing's natural gas industry. Ms. Li Yalan led Beijing Gas Group to achieve outstanding success. Since 2011, Li Yalan has been general manager of Beijing Gas Group. In 2014 she became chairman of the board of the Beijing Gas Group and has made considerable progress in increasing gas purchase volumes from 6.86 billion cubic meters in 2011 to 15.55 billion cubic meters in 2016 in Beijing city.

北京市燃气集团董事长李雅兰个人简介

李雅兰女士现任北京市燃气集团董事长、中国城市燃气协会副理事长、国际燃气联盟（IGU）亚洲及亚太地区协调官。

李雅兰女士具有丰富的工作经历。自1985年工作以来，32年间，李雅兰女士阅历丰富，既有政府工作的经历，担任过北京市公用局计划处副处长；也有企业工作的经历，精通燃气业务，担任过北京市燃气集团计划发展部经理、总工程师，同时，具有丰富的企业高管经验，现任北京市燃气集团董事长。在能源政策制定方面，作为住房城乡建设部第一批城镇燃气专家组成员、教授级高级工程师，李雅兰女士先后主持编写了北京市“九五”——“十三五”的天然气发展规划工作，有力促进了北京市天然气行业的发展。

李雅兰女士领导北京市燃气集团取得了突破性的成功。自2011年李雅兰担任北京市燃气集团总经理、2014年担任董事长以来，北京市燃气集团获得了长足的发展，燃气购入量从2011年的68.6亿立方米提升至2016年的152.5亿立方米，北京市天然气年使用量在世界城市中排名上升至第二名，北京市燃气集团已成为中国第一个单体城市天然气日购入量突破亿、年购销量突破百亿、累计购入量突破千亿的企业，是中国城市燃气行业中的龙头企业。李雅兰女士积极推动首都大气环境治理措施的实施，组织完成了北京市大量煤改气的实施工作，先后实现了北京市中心、三环、四环、五环“无煤化”工作。《北京市天然气利用工程》荣获全国土木工程行业最高奖项—“詹天佑奖”。北京燃气也是中国唯一一个集团级的燃气行业的高新技术企业。

李雅兰女士在国际燃气行业内具有广泛的国际影响力。她积极参与国际能源治理，担任2015－2018年国际燃气联盟亚洲及亚太区域协调官及核心决策机构执委会成员，在她的努力下，促成了G20天然气日活动于2016年6月29日在北京成功举办，这是首次在 G20框架下举办的天然气专题会议，提升了中国在国际能源组织的影响力。同时也积极推动亚太地区的天然气发展和“一带一路”范围内基础设施的项目合作。
