Mr. Marcelo Cruz Lopes has an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Federal Fluminense (Niterói) and an Executive MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral. He also has a post MBA in Negotiation and leadership from Kellogs School of Management – Northwestern University.

Since 2005, he has been working for Petrobras and has held several management positions, including Energy Executive Manager and General Manager of Operation of Energy Assets.

Since April 2018, Mr. Marcelo Cruz Lopes is Petrobras Natural Gas Executive Manager, linked to the Natural Gas and Refining Board. He is responsible for the management of natural gas processing assets, the sale of natural gas and LNG and natural gas and LNG logistics operations.
