Martin Crick is a reservoir engineer with 29 years’ experience in the industry. He started with AEA Technology on contract to the UK Department of Energy in 1988. Then at Texaco he worked on development of Erskine, the first HPHT gas condensate in the UK North Sea, and the giant Karachaganak field in Kazakhstan. At Schlumberger he lead design of Petrel Reservoir Engineering, the leading industry environment for reservoir simulation, and then managed their simulation software business in N America. He joined Tullow in 2012 as Chief Petroleum Engineer, spent 2013 in Ghana as interim subsurface manager for the Jubilee field, and recently became Appraisal and Development Manager for the ongoing Ghanaian TEN project.  He holds a BSc(Hons) in Physics from the University of Bristol and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
