Martín Genesio has graduated from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional of Argentina with the degree of Engineer in Electronics.  He has obtained a master degree on the electricity and natural gas market at the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires (ITBA), a management certification at Darden Business School at University of Virginia and an Executive MBA (Cum Laude) at the IAE Business School of the Universidad Austral.  He joined Termoandes S.A., an AES group company, as Commercial Manager in 2006.  Later on, he was appointed as General Manager of Termoandes and General Manager and COO for AES companies in Argentina.  Currently, he holds the position of President and CEO of the AES Group´s companies in Argentina.  Prior to joining Termoandes, he served as International Sales Manager at EDF Global Solutions, a company part of the Electricité de France holding and as Manager for LATAM and El Caribe in Mercados Energéticos SA. He has more than 14 years of experience in the Argentinean and regional power market.
