Martin McAspurn-Lohmann is a Managing Director and Head of Oil & Gas and Utilities at Santander Corporate and Investment Banking UK with responsibility for the global coverage of major energy and water companies.

Throughout his career, Martin has worked in the US, Germany and the UK, and has provided advisory work and led deal teams in numerous high profile debt and equity transactions in the natural resources and energy sectors. His team provides advisory-led financing solutions across the global oil & gas value chain, as well as solutions for the power, water and renewable energy sector. Key geographies for his team are Europe and the Americas; selectively they are active in Asia, Africa and Australia.

He regularly speaks at industry events and writes articles for energy and finance publications. Martin is a member of the Task Force for Climate Change for the Santander Group and represents the bank in various climate finance industry working groups. He is bilingual in English and German and holds a master's degree with specialisation in corporate finance and international economic policy.
