
Massimiliano Valenti
Human Resources VP, eni Mozambique
Massimiliano Valenti is currently Human Resources VP for projects and activities carried on by Eni in Mozambique and he’s currently based in UK (Basingstoke) as Human Resources Director of Eni Mozambique Engineering Ltd., Eni’s engineering company hosting the three main projects in the country (Coral South and Mamba’s giant reservoir development, Upstream and LNG Onshore).
After having worked for TelecomItalia Group in Italy and for Walmart Group in the US, 17 years ago he joined Snamprogetti Spa, former Eni’s Engineering Owner where he started an international career in human resources management.
After an international assignment in Doha (Qatar), he was in charge of several start-up projects as the implementation of Snamprogetti Management Services SA, Geneva (Switzerland) and the establishment of a multidisciplinary engineering centre in Bucharest (Snamprogetti Romania Srl).
His adventure within Eni Spa started in 2006 after joining the E&P division when, based in Moscow for three years, he was responsible for carrying on human resources management activities relevant to a USD 4,4 billion project in Western Siberia.
After having supported the re-organization of Eni Norge from Stavanger (Norway) to start-up Goliath project in the Barents Sea, he joined Eni Corporate to update and implement the overall Eni’s Group International Mobility Policy.
More recently, he’s been based in London as Managing Director of Eni International Resources Ltd, Eni’s international employer of high caliber human resources geared towards an international career.
