Matthieu is Vice President in charge of Energy Transition and Hydrogen for Air Liquide, based in Dubai. Air Liquide is a world leader for gases, technologies and services for industry and health. He was recently Managing Director of ALIAD Venture Capital, a corporate venture fund investing and supporting Tech startups in the climate, healthcare and digital spaces.

Over his 20 years experience, Matthieu has been leading industrial operations and business units for bluechip energy companies like EDF and Edison. He also spent more than 10 years leading financial transactions in cleantech infrastructure, private equity and venture capital.

He served on the Board of Directors of numerous Clean tech startups and SMEs, driving shareholder value creation and helping these companies bring to scale solutions to address the Climate crisis. He also worked as advisor to fund managers active in Impact investing. Matthieu is deeply engaged in funding and scaling-up solutions that will enable achieving our society the Net-Zero pathway.

Matthieu lived and worked in France, Germany, Italy, the US and the Middle-East. He holds a MSc. in Civil Engineering from Ecole des Mines in France and a MBA from INSEAD Business School.
