Mohammed Abdul Ghaffar Hussain
Co-Founder and Chairman, Creek
Mohammed is the Co-Founder and Chairman of Creek, a climate impact investor that builds and finances sustainable and decentralized energy, water and waste infrastructure energy across the region. He also serves as Managing Director of Green Coast Enterprises, a Dubai-based family manufacturing and real estate conglomerate with a 50-year history.
Mohammed started his career with ABN AMRO, providing structured finance solutions to infrastructure projects in the GCC. He later moved to ABN AMRO in London where he was focused on arranging various debt instruments for private equity led buyouts in Europe.
Since his return to the UAE, Mohammed has been involved in ventures across various sectors in the region and sat on the boards of several prominent companies and institutions, including the Emirates Development Bank, Emaar industries and the National Cement Company.
Mohammed holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
