In Country Value Manager, PDO

 

Mohammed is working at Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) for more than 20 years. He graduated from Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) as Electrical and Electronics Engineer and in 2002, he got his MBA from Hull Business School, UK. In 2008, he assumed the role of the Corporate Security and Emergency Response Manager before he moved to his current role as In-Country Value (ICV) Development Manager in 2012.

In his current role, Mohammed is responsible for managing and delivering PDO’s ICV goals, including maximizing the local purchases of goods and services, training and creating more jobs for Omanis (mainly at contractors workforce) and help establish a competitive and sustainable local supplier/vendor base, especially SMEs. In addition, his role entails working with various public and private stakeholders to ensure alignment of ICV objectives and creating synergy among relevant stakeholders.
