Nalin has over 16 years of experience in energy sector. He has built solid track record of leadership success in Renewable Energy (Solar IPP, module manufacturing, Solar Thermal, EPC, automation & maintenance) and Oil & Gas sector with specialties in start-up, strategic planning, business development, operations, bidding and project management. He has extensive experience in Asia, The Middle East, Australia, and Sub-Saharan Africa regions.

He currently works in Ecoppia Scientific, a Tel Aviv Listed solar automation company as Vice President – Asia, Middle East and Pacific. He started the Asia operations and is responsible for P&L of the region (sales, operations & manufacturing). Ecoppia has over 16GW of signed order book and 3GW+ deployed projects across India and The Middle East.

Previously, Nalin held top management positions at some of the most renowned renewables companies. He was Head – Channel Partnership at SunEdison Asia & Sub-Saharan Africa, spearheaded channel strategy at Tata Power Solar (part of the $100 Billion Tata Group – solar module maker, EPC and developer) and more recently the Vice President- Solar at RattanIndia (NSE: RTNPOWER). He started his career with BPCL (NSE:BPCL), a Global Fortune 500 energy company, where he was responsible for annual revenues of $76 million.

Nalin holds a Bachelors in Technology from Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi and an MBA from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
