Paolo Romanacci
Area Manager - Mexico & Central America, Enel Green Power
Paolo Romanacci is Enel’s Head of Renewable Energies for Mexico and Central America. Runs the operations in Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica and Panama, leading a team composed by over 550 people. Romanacci oversees 28 renewable energy power plants: 19 currently operating, with an installed capacity of approximately 1.3 GW; 5 under construction, adding a total of around 1.3 GW more; and 4 to be executed.
Romanacci has worked in six countries in his 20 years of professional expertise, 10 of them with Enel, where he has occupied diverse strategic roles. He entered the Group in 2006 in the Business Development area for Renewable Energies in Rumania, later he held the position of Business Development Manager for Enel Green Power Latin America and Operation & Maintenance Manager of Enel Green Power in Italy. Before his arrival to Enel, Romanacci worked for NASA, Techspace Aero and Altran Italia.
Paolo also holds a degree in Aerospace, Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering by the University of Rome La Sapienza, as well as Management and Leadership studies in the Energy Sector by the IESE Business School – SDA Bocconi.
