With over 14 years working for ENH – Mozambique National Oil Company, began his carrer in the business development department having integrated the team responsible for negotiating IFC/ENH farm in/out into the Pande & Temane gas venture, Mozambique first natural gas export venture, operated by Sasol. Following that he spent 2 years working as senior member of the negotiating team for ENH acquisition of 25% of ENH of the 865km trans-border pipeline from Mozambique to South Africa and incorporation process of ENH special purpose entity to represent ENH in the pipeline and was appointed interim manager for 1 year. Following a role as head of corporate and institutional relations, was appointed Senior Marketing Manager responsible for negotiating gas sales agreements and gas transportation agreements domestically and regionally that resulted in development of the first gas to power and city gas distribution projects in Mozambique. With the LNG projects in the Rovuma Basin, since 2014, Pascoal lead the establishment of the LNG Marketing & Shipping division at ENH, and since August 2018 has seconded to Mozambique LNG1 in Singapore, in the capacity as Deputy General Manager representing the Mozambique National Oil Company in the Mozambique LNG Seller Entity, for the Area 1 Concession operated by Anadarko.

Born and bred in Mozambique, he is graduated in Business Science Hons, from University of Cape Town, South Africa, and started a long distance MBA program with University of South Africa (UNISA).
