Reinet van Zyl is a chemical engineer by training and has 21 Years Engineering and Management experience in Heavy Industry. She started her career in product development and marketing, and then moved to production, operations and more recently energy management. She is currently part of the senior management team and responsible for the Business Improvement, Strategic initiatives and Energy Management at ArcelorMittal Saldanha Works.

Qualifications : B. Eng – Chemical,  M. Eng – Extractive Metallurgy, Energy Management System Expert Level (UNIDO), CEM (Certified Energy Manager), CMVP (Certified Measurement & Verification Professional), CEA (Certified Energy Auditor), MAP–from WITS and a Results Workplace Coach.
