Roger Tisset

Roger Tissot joined KAPSARC (King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center) research team in June 2014. He is leading the Local Content research activities for the Eastern Africa project. Roger started his career at the Canadian Energy Research Institute where he specialized in Latin America’s energy issues. He then worked for EnCana a large Canadian oil and gas company in a number of functions such as Business Development and Government Relations. Following his work at EnCana, he joined PFC Energy (now IHS CERA). In 2008 Roger started his independent consulting practice. His activities included advising governments on different aspects of their petroleum policies. He also assisted a number of companies in their dealings with local governments. Roger holds a MA in Economics from Laval University (Quebec) and an MBA from the University of Calgary, and completed in 2014 his designation for the CMA/CPA from the British Columbia Association of Management Accountants.
