Sibylle works across corporate, financing, project-related and investment matters. She assists with energy and infrastructure projects from their inception, taking into consideration the legal aspects as well as the strategic, tax and economic issues.
Sibylle assists project developers, public and private investors and financing institutions as clients. Their different needs enable her to stay alert and to grant a proper risk assessment in a dynamic and demanding environment.

She advises energy producers and utilities or aggregators on all aspects of the development process and contractual schemes to be implemented, including energy trading. Her particular expertise includes complex contractual structuring, acting for banks and Funds on the project financing for renewable energy or infrastructure projects, setting up energy trading-related contracts; providing due diligence reports and acquisition concepts for energy-related projects; negotiating and drafting FIDIC based and EPC contracts as well as technical and commercial management agreements or O&M Agreements.
Sibylle works closely with the other energy & utilities specialists at Bird & Bird, as well as Bird & Bird's Corporate, Commercial and Banking & Finance teams in France, Germany and internationally.
Before joining Bird & Bird in 2019, Sibylle was managing partner for over 13 years in a energy specialized law firm in Paris, managing transactions and financing involving both French and international clients.
