Vania Laban joined ENGIE in March 2010. As Vice-president of Corporate Affairs, she is responsible for External Affairs, Communications, Marketing, Regulation & Tariffs and Corporate Social Responsibility efforts in Mexico. Prior to joining ENGIE, Vania worked as a senior energy consultant with IPD Latin America and as an advisor to the Secretary of Energy as well as with the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE).
