Dr Zheng has been responsible for CNOOC’s LNG procurement and trading efforts since 2008, and is one of the pioneers of spot LNG trading as well as short- and mid-term LNG procurement in China. During his over ten-year career in CNOOC, he has led approximately 10 mtpa of spot and term LNG procurements, and a series of LNG package transactions along the upstream and midstream. Dr. Zheng has a PhD in Thermal Engineering from Tsinghua University.
