The ANH is the authority responsible for promoting optimum and sustainable use of the country's hydrocarbon resources, managing them fully a​nd harmonizing the interests of society, the State and companies in the sector.

We will be recognized as a world model entity for:

-Knowledge of the potential of the Colombian subsoil and the achievement of its use;

-Efficiency and transparency in the management of hydrocarbons and working together with the industry and the community; and

-Professionalism of our team, high technological level and efficiency and agility in key processes.​
