Unique calibration facilities at FORCE Technology
FORCE Technology is amongst the leading providers of accredited calibration services for the worldwide gas industry.
High-pressure calibration of natural gas meters takes place at the world’s largest closed loop. The technology behind the loop ensures correctly measured and settled gas flow and minimal calibration uncertainty at maximum flow and pressure all year round, irrespective of the season. We calibrate all meters in the pressure range 3 bar (40 PSI) – 65 bar (945 PSI) and flow range 5 – 32000 m3/h.
In 2021, a MEGA loop for calibration of meter sizes up to 56” with two meters in series, at a flow of up to 85.000 m3/h and a pressure of 65 bar will be constructed. The MEGA loop will position FORCE Technology as the one-stop shop facility for flow calibration of all meter sizes in both the upstream and downstream sector.
